Roll out pizza dough to about ¼-inch thick. Cut out 3½ -inch circles.
Place a piece of cheese in the center of each round, top with a chicken nugget to one side. Fold over one side and press to seal the edges. Let them sit for 30 minutes to rise again.
Meanwhile, heat oil to 170ºF. When the oil is hot, fry until golden on both sides.
In a large bowl, mix together parmesan, pepper, parsley and garlic powder. Toss each drained and slightly cooled calzone in the cheese mixture to coat.
Serve with marinara.
